You people have a very strange view on morality and the law. So let me get this straight. You are entitled to occupy either peoples buildings because they are not being used, yet the police are not able to take your property away from you?

Either you are hypocrites you are think that something that is not being used no longer belongs to someone. I guess that means that aboriginal land no longer belongs to them because it was hardly utilised by them (no agriculture).

@zwiiyt there was a time in U.S.A. that black men could not vote right. so to (make it fair and equal) they said ok black men can vote but only if their grandfather voted. this would mean no black men could ever vote still because none of their grandfathers did. it’s the same thing. how can you ask people that are protesting because they feel like they don’t make enough money; to pay for protesting with free speech in a public place.

I think the fountains and the memorial seat in Martin Place are a threat to public safety.
Perhaps an Occupy fence should be erected around them to section them off until the Police or Council can either REMOVE them or give reason as to WHY they are neither blocking pedestrians or posing a risk to public safety. Then compare that to your cardboard boxes.
Perhaps you could organise a flash mob of people walking by and falling into the fountains?

@zwiiyt all of them? others are there to make sure they don’t end poor and starving. one big problem with people in general is they like to label everyone the same just because they are at the same place and at the same time. i guarantee they are all different and have different reasons. no matter what the reason is you should not have to pay for free speech in public. that is what protesting is all about. expressing yourself, speaking your mind in public. FREEdom of speach man.
